One thing I`m hanging on — the bartender was cute! (Dadi, no need to panic… everybody thought so. I Love you very much!)
Grace and I finally went to explore the big, wierd world of TOkyo — by ourselves. Devoid of any Michelle and Claudine! Boy, we`re so damn proud of ourselves!
First stop - Yokohama. (We`re guided by Iyuko, a dormmate, up to this point anyway.)
-Went to ask the Tourist Information for train directions to Akihabara, Japan`s Electronic Town. The lady-attendant was hesitant to give us the directions - telling us that Yokohama has enough electronic stores - if we just want to get a digicam. We ended up lying that "We`re meeting a friend there…" <– That worked anyway.
Next Stop - Tokyo.
-Changed train. Grace and I squabbling whether to buy a ticket or get a fare adjustment when we arrive in Akihabara. The train arrived, so we opted for the latter.
Next - Akihabara.
-Left or Right? Went Right - OFF TO ELECTRONIC TOWN!!
-Checked out DigiCams. Grace and I both felt in love with Sony DSC-P200. A 7.2 mega-pixel babe… We`re getting it next month. We could have bought it right there and then — but the thought of starvation for the rest of the month made us see sense.
-Checked out some more… Laptops, iPods, and other stuff we`d want to own. Bwahaha! Everything was on sale — Golden Week mantra. Too bad, we ain`t have enough savings. Bleh!
-Instead of some gadgets (since we`re in the Mecca-of-elecro), we ended up shopping for clothes. We ended up hanging out at Uniqlo - they`re on sale!
-Ate in McDonalds, bought some stuff in HyakuYen…
-Bought my first CHUCK TAYLORs! It`s RED and I LOVE IT! (the highlight of my first Akihabara experience…)
Final Stop - Shibuya.
-Went around. We`re meeting at 10pm at one of the station`s exits.
-Had dinner in a noodle shop.
-Changed outfits and made up for the big night — in the station`s toilet.
*** Club Pure ***
(Met new kababayans - Tere , from UP - currently in Tokyo University, and Margarita, married to a Japanese. Marriane also brought
along her Japanese dormmate — Imiko?
~the place we spent the night dancing with endless glasses of DRINKS! (I`m highlighting it… doesn`t mean it`s all booze, y`know. I actually had glasses of water and some stuff in-between…)
~some "I-don`t-wanna-name-names" thought their hot, started making moves, had to tell one of the club`s staff (the cute bartender - Dadi, peace! I love you!) about them.
~met an Irish lady named Vicky who ended up sermoning the "I-don`t-wanna-name-names" group.
~everything was settled, to the point that the leader of the group asked my help because he`s falling in love with Vicky. He even asked her to visit S**-**** to meet his family. My-my…
~Vicky is with a friend named Elmar, whom Tere (one of the Pinoy`s studying in Tokyo University) had a good chat with…
~at 4:45, we called it a night. We - with Vicky and Elmar - found a good place to grab something to eat.
~ate with lots of chitchats about this and that.
~parted ways with Vicky and Elmar. Then in the station, parted ways with the Tere, Marianne, and Imiko (?).
… Homeward bound at 6:30am.
-slept in the train. took a f*cked-up taxi on the way home.
-slept until Tari/Uma rang my doorbell..
THE BARGUY WAS DAMN CUTE!!!!
*** Well, I just miss my Dadi Junex so much… The barguy kinda looked like him - bonnet, black shirt, and stuff… Whew!
The barguy was cute, period. Nothing more, nothing less ( I hope).
