FujiSan — hey! see you again??!!
Thursday, August 25th, 2005Aches gone and chapped skin’s a little of a history now… the thought of going back to Fuji keeps tickling my mind. After swearing off mountains and walking per se — the idea of going back to the glamorous hell, which led to the oath by the way, is simply DoOoPEyy!!
The climb <crawling more like it> was not entirely a disappointment since we were able to finger the stones, grasp the gravel, feel the gust and all those shit.. man, it was horrible!!! I smelled like horse dung back in the 5th station.. OopS! I’m suppose to expoUnd on the compensations…
The clouds was/were <which?> really breathtaking. It gives you a feeling of being in heaven which makes a little suicidal in some point. You just want to jump and feel the puffy thingy floating there… or maybe a roller coaster amidst those cottoncandies would be great!
The sunrise was bliss for the soul but not for the face. Okay! I’ll stop right here! I’ve just realized that I’m still a little cranky..
Whew!
It’s just that… we were just a dozen of rests before the summit, y’know.. yet we never really made it there. Hmmm… that made it a little bitin. It’s like getting a like of the big portion of the icing but not really tasting the real cake. I’m serious here! I’m starting to sound metaphoric again, and this is a little dangerous for a 16MB memory brain, y’know..
The main motivation of the climb <crawl??> was to reach the top and see the — i don’t know.. stones? yeah! to see the stones and take super-duper many photos!!
Oh yeah… I really have to go back there. Being a great moron that I am, with brain cells popping all the time– I FORGOT TO BRING MY CAMERA! DUng!! Of all things. I got all my chocolates <which is one of the reason I was excited about the trip in the first place…>, several useless clothing layers, my teddy bear…. the camera? somewhere in my room.
Huh! Yey.. I’m gonna conquer Mt. Apo when I get back in the Philippines, then I’m going back here in Japan. I’m gonna crawl my way to that blasted, bloody, cursed mountain top with my camera! Darn!!
ROARRRR!!!!
